State of the City Address at the Coronado Theatre

Dear Friends,

I hope you can join me on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. for the State of the City Address at the beautiful Coronado Theatre. This is the first time that this event will be held at the Coronado, and there is no charge to attend. The address will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a reception in the lobby of the Coronado from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Admission to the event is free but tickets are required. Four tickets will be available per person for the event and can be picked up in person at the following Centre Events outlets: Metro Centre, 300 Elm Street; or at the Coronado Theatre, 314 North Main Street. Metro Centre box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; the Coronado Theatre box office opens at 12 noon on event days only. Tickets are not available on the Internet.

The Coronado will open at 5:00 p.m. for seating, which is general admission. Doors will close promptly at 6:00 p.m.

My address will be highlighting some of our activities over the last year, discussing current conditions in the City of Rockford, and describing strategies to address areas of concern and produce improvements.
