The City of Rockford Human Services Department has released the site for clean-up relief for flood-affected residents and groups of volunteers willing to help. In collaboration with Love, Inc. and Forest City Fellowship Church, flood-affected residents can go the Hallstrom Center, located at 1300 17th Street on Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm to request clean-up assistance. Residents will be assisted on a first-come, first serve basis.

Any interested persons or volunteer groups willing to help with the clean-up effort should meet at the Hallstrom Center at 9:00 am on Saturday. Volunteers are instructed to dress in appropriate cleaning attire and bring cleaning products such as boots, gloves, buckets, old brooms and masks if necessary.
